It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lorena Byrd of Glenville, West Virginia, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Lecia Mae Byrd and Charles Asel Byrd; her great grandchild Ella Grace Moyers; and her siblings, Linn Greenlief, Kenny Greenlief, Midge Greathouse and Linda Nolan.
She is survived by: her spouse Asel "Whimp" Marlon Byrd; her daughters, Carol Beam (Danny) of Glenville and Tressa Byrd (Scott) of Linesville, PA; her grandchildren, Sarah Moyers of Glenville, Taylor Chadwell (Ethan) of Normantown and Hunter Ashley of Clarksburg; her great grandchildren, Laynie, Holly Moyers, Noah Kniceley, Easton, Eli, Emersyn and Tucker Chadwell; and her siblings, Wanda Frederick, Emma Byrd of Glenville and Steve Greenlief (Joyce) of Burnsville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Betty Lorena Byrd, 83, of Glenville, WV. went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side after a hard-fought battle with Alzheimer's disease.
