She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Adelbert and Roma Arlene Hayes Nichols; her husband David McPherson; and her brothers, Virgil Nichols, Donnie Nichols and Larry Nichols.

She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Jones (Wes Ford) and Rita O'Byrne (Kenneth Allers); her grandson John Jones Jr. (Rebecca); and her siblings, Michael Nichols of Canyon Country, CA, Darline Plattner (Junior) and Carla Hayes.
