He is survived by: his wife Lenora Reaser Bennett; his sons, Dorsey Lee Bennett of Cedarville, WV and Aaron Labe Bennett Jr. of Glenville; his grandchildren, Lisa Jean Hardman, Ian Jacob Bennett and Ahnaleah Bennett; his stepgrandson Anthony Harper; his great grandchildren, Lucas Charles Hardman and Waylon Aaron Bennett; and his siblings, Betty Montgomery, Ivy Burns and Winnie Cunningham. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
