She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Darnell and Violet Hester Grose Darnell; her husband Elvin "Dick" Junior Bishop; her children, Betty Jo Bishop Johnson, Ervin Bishop and Pete Bishop; and her siblings, Junior Wade Darnell, Leonard Darnell, Thurston Eugene Darnell, Bonnie Jean Darnell, Dolly Sue Darnell and Linda Kay Darnell.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Bishop, Annabelle Lyle, Nifateria Murdock (Chase), James Bishop (Irene), Ricky Bishop (Carmella), Geary Bishop and Jerry Bishop (Kathy); and her sisters, Vina Janice Darnell and Shirley Ann Darnell. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
