She was predeceased by: her parents, George Waine and Lanzy Jane Ransom (Massie); her children, Lanzetha Suzanne Thompson and Jerry Lee Gunter Jr.; and her siblings, Arnold Darryl, Bobby Eugene, Donald Ray, Dallas Wayne Ransom, Polly Ann Ransom, Betty Jean Ransom, Ina Fern Lilly and Brenda Carol Webber.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Lee Gunter Sr.; her siblings, George Robert (Wanda) of Cool Ridge, Ronnie Dean Ransom Sr. of Cool Ridge and Tammy Sue Pack (Harold) of Fitzpatrick; her granddaughter Joslyn Nicole Scarbro-Gunter; her pets, Tank, Baby and Tempi; and her nephew Cody Pack. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
