He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Lynn Garrett and Virginia Eloise Burton Garrett; and his siblings, Sandra Lynn Garrett, Donald "Donnie" Gene Garrett, Paul Timothy Burton Garrett and Brenda Sue Garrett Pino.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Louise Piper Garrett; his former wife Cindy Shrewsberry; his daughters, Michelle Ree Garrett Hiser (Joshua) of Oak Hill, Tracy Dawn Garrett Mauro of Hinton, Melissa Louise Garrett Jensen (Lindsay) of Mount Hope and Tammy Lynnette Garrett Markert (David) of Mount Hope; and his grandchildren, Andrew Harper (Chase), Tristen Harper, Haden Hiser, Payton Mauro, Gabriel Jensen, Sylvana Jensen, Arthur Jensen, Evelyn Markert and Eden Markert. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, as well as his church family and the many friends.
