With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence George Lucas Sr. of Glen Dale, West Virginia, born in Benwood, West Virginia, who passed away on August 4, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. Lucas and Mary Lucas (Wagenhoffer); his wife Ellen Rita Lucas (Cianfarani); his brothers-in-law, Richard McPeek and Stanley Jasinski; and his nephew John Jasinski.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence G. Lucas, Jr. (Susan) of Glen Dale and Sharon A. Twigg (Bernard) of Glen Dale; his sisters, Shirley M. Lucas of Benwood and Linda McPeek of Glen Dale; his sister-in-law Roseanne Jasinski of Glen Dale; his grandchildren, Leanne Goddard (Zeke) of Glen Dale, Lauren Krupica, Ryan Twigg of Glen Dale, Joshua and Jacob Lucas of Glen Dale; and his great grandchildren, Elayna Twigg, Lilliana Goddard, Gunner Goddard, Adalyn Twigg and Louise Krupica.
