She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Otte and Mamie Otte (Hazlette). She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ruth Whorton (Jim) of Glen Dale; her brother H. C. "Bud" Otte (Jane) of Glen Dale; her grandchildren, Thomas James "T. J." Whorton (Krista) of Westerville, OH and Matthew Whorton (Nicole) of Wheeling, WV; and her great grandchildren, Lexie, Emmy Whorton, Colin and Ella Whorton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
