She was predeceased by: her parent John W. Lavender; her daughter Deborah Lee Matheney; her grandsons, Larry D. Knapp and Romie L. Young; and her sisters, Lillian M. Griffin and Garnet T. Comer.
She is survived by: her husband Ronal D. Matheney; her parent Lula Mae Lavender of Chesapeake; her brother John Lavender; and her daughters, Sonja A. Knapp of Winifrede, Nancy Sue Young (Bob) of Elkview, Sandra Kay Matheney of Winifrede and Margaret Rose Wilson (Jim) of Marmet. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
