It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madeline Ritz Winfree in Glasgow, West Virginia, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Arlington Winfree; her son Kevin Blaine Winfree; her parents, Elmer Ritz and Sylvia Hunter Ritz; her siblings, Franklin Ritz (Georgie), Douglas Ritz (Barbara), Elton Ritz, Nathlee Litzinger and Nida Ritz; and her nephew Kerry Ritz.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law René Winfree of Georges Creek; and her grandchildren, Allison Cruikshank (Chuck) and Charles Alan'Trey'Cruikshank III of Glasgow.
