He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jasper, Winford, Helen, Gaye, Thomas, Olay, Icy, Bennett, Pauline, Aretta and Garland.
He is survived by: his wife Beebe; his son Eric; his grandchildren, Adam (Jessica Crook), Justin Crook, Sarah (Sam Buckland) and Kate Crook; his great grandchildren, Addison and Wade; and his brother Harry (Charlene) of Chicago, Illinois..
