With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Marie Waugh of Gerrardstown, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert R. Wiant and Hila E. Wiant (Rogers); her husband Hartzel R. Waugh; and her siblings, Albert Wiant, Jr., William Hayward Wiant, Leona Mick, Ruby Metz, Irene Messenger and Mildred Craig.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Hurst and Randall Waugh; and her siblings, Nora Burkhammer and Virgil Wiant. She is also survived by two grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (2397 US Hwy 19 N, Jane Lew, WV 26378).
