He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Adkins and Ethel Adkins; and his sister Vernie Dean. He is survived by: his wife Helen Adkins; his children, Jerry Adkins (Jackie), Tim Adkins (Kim), Joe Adkins of Genoa, WV, Jennifer Bass (Rick) of Sparr, FL and Adam Adkins (Sabrina) of Inez, KY.; and his brother Floyd Adkins (Denise) of Ohio. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren.
