She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Jay Berry and Lona Mae Maynard Berry; her husband John Henry Spence; her children, Sylvia Gail Spence and Nolan Walter Spence; and her siblings, Margaret Berry, Gaynell Johnson, James, Dennis, Herman, Winford and Nolan Berry.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lois Toppins of Genoa, WV, Anna Marie Pratt (Glenn) of Wayne, WV, Linda Carol Burns (Charlie) of Wayne, WV, James Henry Spence (Kathy) of Cleveland, OH, Johnie William Spence of Orrville, OH and Carlos Jarrett Spence of Genoa, WV; and her siblings, Sylvia Smith of Crum, WV, Jacquia Moore of Wayne, WV, June Hayes of Fort Gay, WV and Dale Berry. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
