He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Wilson and Grace Webb Wilson; his brother Don Wilson; and his niece Kelly Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Melba Wilson; his daughter Sherry Compton (Phillip) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Bret Eaves (Shelby Thompson), Ciara Eaves of Genoa, Aiden Eaves of Genoa, Taylor Eaves of Genoa and Mason Eaves of Genoa; his brother Billy Wilson (Darlene) of Genoa; and his sister-in-law Edna Wilson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
