John Starkey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Starkey of Genoa, West Virginia, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Oscar Young; his brothers, Jeffrey Stephens and Miles Young; his wife Linda Starkey; his children, Haley Starkey of Genoa, Sara Starkey of Huntington, Carrie Starkey of Kenova, W. Va, Tina Starkey of South Point, Brittany Starkey of Colorado Springs, Zachary Rieder of Genoa and Brandon Rieder (Jaime Wallace) of Ashville, Ala.; his grandchildren, Elijah, Jennings, Jason, Lucy, Cayden, Rylan, Kylie and Joanna; his mother Carrie Young; and his siblings, Mary Young, Shadow Lighthorse, Beth Young and Oscar Young. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.
