With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommie Gordon Dearien (Gay, West Virginia), who passed away on September 16, 2019 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Dearien; his brother Ralph Staton Dearien; his wife Virginia Dearien; and his brothers-in-law, Junior Lee Craig, Dale Kristy and Adrian Brown.

He is survived by: his children, Sonya Marie Dearien Baker (James W. Baker) of Raleigh, NC and Thomas Gordon Dearien Jr. (Christina) of Fairfield, NC; his sisters, Helen Brown of Mesa, AZ and Nancy Craig of Eleanor; and his grandchildren, Olivia Baker of Tampa, FL, Katherine (Emma Baker), Dylan, Joseph, Haley and Lyndsey Pauley of Cross Lanes, WV. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
