He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry O. Ross and Nora "Olive" Cross Ross of Coco; his son Gwynn D. Ross, II; and his siblings, Dana Lewis Ross, Jerry Hollis Ross, Larry Allen Ross, William Franklin "Bill" Ross, Clarence Edward Ross, Dorothy L. Lynch, Frances M. Leftwich and Rebecca "Becky" Crockett.
He is survived by: his children, Anna M. Gandee (Michael) of Gay, Paula L. Mancini of Gay and Bernard L. "Will" Ross of Charleston; his siblings, Richard M. Ross (Barbara), Raymond G. Ross, David L. Ross (Sharon), Barbara J. Pritt, E. Kay Truman and Debra Saunders (Pete); his sister-in-law Wanda Sheldon Ross; his grandchildren, Sean E. Ross (Irelene), Michael F. Gandee, Adam R. Gandee (Courtney) and Amber A. Marshall (Phillip) of Phoenix, AZ; and his great grandchildren, Suzanna Ross Webb, Katelynn Rhodes, Ashtyn Gandee, Gabriel J. Alger of Phoenix, AZ, Matthew Gandee of Ripley, Andrew Ross of Ripley, Daniel Ross of Ripley and Grayson James Gandee of Ripley. He is also survived by six great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
