He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee and Martha Florence McGlothlin Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Lynn Griffith Hughes; his stepchildren, Jimmy Martin of Florida, James Anderson of Spencer, Michael Anderson of Looneyville, Stephanie Martin of Delaware and Laura Obryan of Spencer; his siblings, Bonnie (Larry Carpenter) and Vernon (Jackie Russell); and his pets, Otis, Meg, Pete, Boo, Reece and Norma Lou.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home (406 Market St, Spencer, WV 25276). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
