It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clair David Fields of Gay, West Virginia, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Fields and Nellie Price Fields; and his siblings, Delbert Fields, Reva Shamblin, Avriel Fields and Delphia Critchfield.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Watkins Fields; his children, David Fields (Kristie), Scotty Fields (Monica), Jamie Fields (Sara) and Ashley Arbogast (Matt); his siblings, Ralph Fields, Gertha Casto, Mazil Casto, Wanda Jones and Ozella Critchfield; and his grandchildren, Jacob Fields, Sean Fields, Justin Fields, Hunter Fields, Kelsey Brown, William Shamblin Fields, Barbara Shamblin Fields, Josiah Park, Samantha Bonham and Brandon Fields. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
