He was predeceased by: his parents, Otho L. Mays and Irene Williams Mays; and his brothers, Charles Lee Mays of Falls View and Otho L. "Bill" Mays of Deshler, Ohio.. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Chilson of Mocksville, NC and Jennifer Hobbs of Murrells Inlet, SC; and his siblings, Betty Miller of Falls View, James L. "Jim" Mays of Weston, FL, Frederick A. "Fred" Mays of Charlton Heights, WV and Robert S. "Bob" Mays of Wilton Manors, FL. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
