She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman McHenry and Virginia "Ruth" McHenry (Jones); her sons, Jerry Burton Jr. and Noble Wayne Burton; and her siblings, Herman "Wayne" McHenry, Mary Jane Clevenger, Marie Barto, Judith Ann McHenry, Bill Dean McHenry and John David McHenry.

She is survived by: her daughter Vivian Scrogham of Gassaway; her granddaughter Jasmine Scrogham; and her sisters, Rebecca Junkins (Chuck) of Tanner and Susan Claypoole (Jim) of Napier, WV.
