She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby James and Ruth Barnette Short; her son Christopher Ramsey; her granddaughter MaChaela Keener; her grandmother Vina Morrison; and her siblings, Russell Carpenter, Michael Carpenter and Rosemary Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Stacy E. Jirles (Lisa) of Spencer, WV, Douglas Burk Duckworth (Courtney) of Gassaway and Leslie Ann Ramsey of Gassaway; her former husband Dana Ramsey, Jr. of Gassaway; and her siblings, Eugene Carpenter (Jenny) of Gassaway, Barbara Thompson (Kevin) of Byesville, OH, Linda Oliver (Joe) of Byesville, OH, Tina Hamrick (Rocky) of Gassaway and Tracy Brown of Gassaway. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
