He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dale and Iva Jane Workman Nutter; and his former wife Helen Triplett Nutter. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fox Nutter; his children, Rocky Nutter (Chuck Halstead), Vicki Parsons (Mike) and Melda Brown (Eddie); his siblings, Jennings Nutter (Barbara), Joe Nutter (Brenda) and Eva Crigger (Bennie); his granddaughter Mary Lynne Hamric; his niece Shelly Cottrill (Dennis); his great-nephew Tyler Cottrill; his close friends, Nathan Clark, John Allen and Alfred Blankenship; and his pets, Sammy and Lucy.
