He was predeceased by: his father Creed W. Tinney; and his wife Sharon Lou Robinson Tinney. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Tinney (Wendy) of Fairmont, WV, Chad Tinney (Lori Phillips) of Sutton, Laura Tinney of Maidsville, WV and Lori Toothman (Dean) of Barrackville, WV; and his siblings, Creed Farrell Tinney of Wadsworth, OH and Janet Carol Cottrill of Elgin, OK. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
