He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his son Robert "Bobby" Hamner (Mahalia); his grandchildren, Laina and Chase of Gassaway; his stepchildren, Christopher Simmons (Jill) and Katrina Bruce (Aaron); his stepgrandchildren, Alyssa of Hilton Head, SC, Zack Monford of Hilton Head, SC and Cole Simmons of Hilton Head, SC; and his siblings, Tom Hamner (Janet) of Indian Camp, Paul "Bugs" Hamner (Liz) of French Creek, Roger Hamner of Buckhannon, Linda Reaser of Harrisville and Dorothy Radcliff (Hearlon) of Volga. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
