He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend C. C. "Jack" Dobbins and Eunice Marie Bragg Dobbins; his former wife Elsie Fox Dobbins; his wife Brenda Argabrite Dobbins; and his son Rick Dobbins.
He is survived by: his daughter Shelley Cottrill (Dennis) of Gassaway; his great grandchildren, Tatum and Tyce Cottrill; his daughter Maltese (Katie Pooh); his grandson Tyler Kent Cottrill (Taylor) of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Rodney Dobbins (Linda) of Clem and Carolyn Patrick of Clem. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
