It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Sue Dennison Jones (Gassaway, West Virginia), born in Sutton, West Virginia, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Dennison and Lena B. Cutlip Dennison; and her siblings, Doris Gallaher, Kenneth Dennison and Gaylord Clark Dennison.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Mark Gallaher (Kathryn), Scott Gallaher (Connie), Ann Koontz (Richard), Cheryl Haskell and Emily Dennison; her great-nephews, Matthew Gallaher and Seth Adams (Crystal); her great-niece Courtney Legg (Brad); and also, Ryan Adams, Claire, Mia Legg and John Carter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Karen to the Braxton County Animal Shelter, 10 Animal Shelter Lane, Sutton, WV 26601 or Just One Generation, 4397 Elk River Road, Frametown, WV 26623.
