Jerry D. Skidmore Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry D. Skidmore of Gassaway, West Virginia, born in Sutton, West Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Skidmore and Leoma Skidmore. He is survived by: his wife Sally Skidmore (Lemon); his children, Deborah Reed (Jeff) and Jerry Skidmore (Becky); his granddaughters, Jessica Paige Reed and Jessica Joelle Bontrager (Cory); his great grandchildren, Ian and Maggie; his brothers, Robert Means (Jo) and Stephen Skidmore; and his stepbrothers, Ed Stewart (Lib) and Terry Stewart (Irene). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Sally has requested donations be made in Jerry's memory to "Hearts of Hope", 136 Lee Street, Gassaway, WV 26624.
