It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Darrell Jenkins (Gassaway, West Virginia), born in Gilmer, West Virginia, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Jenkins and Chrinda Jenkins; and his siblings, Lee, Marple, Earl, Eddie, Kenneth, Carl, Virginia, Arine, Delphia and Onabell.
He is survived by: his wife Glenna Louise Jenkins; his children, Mylinda Jenkins of Newport News, VA, Rebecca Teter (Tim) of Belfont, WV, James Jenkins (Raymond) of Barhamsville, VA, Jack Jenkins (Karen) of Sutton, WV and Junior Jenkins of Sutton, WV; and his siblings-in-law, Audra Carper (Stevie) of Belfont, WV, Randall Carper of Gassaway, WV, Don Carper (Sandy) of Gassaway, WV and Dan Carper of Belfont, WV. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
