It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelene D. Rexroad (Gassaway, West Virginia), who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lele Dobbins and Jennie Cunningham Dobbins; her husband Junior Rexroad; her siblings, Emolene Rose and Delvin Dobbins; her great grandchild Landon Rexroad; and her grandson Matthew Oney.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Rexroad (Darlene), Ronny Rexroad (Mary) and Eric Rexroad (Deanna); her grandsons, Gary Rexroad, Justin Rexroad (Yada), Nathan Rexroad (Sylbie) and Tony Carr (Courtney); her great grandchildren, Brandon Rexroad, Colt Carr and Khloe Rexroad; and her siblings, Wavelene Jenkins of Gassaway, Evelyn Gum of Gassaway, Josephine Burns of Ohio, Melvin of Ohio and Elvin Dobbins of Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roach Funeral Home (708 Braxton St, Gassaway, WV 26624). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
