She was predeceased by: her parents, Ocie DeBarr Mitchell and Vassie Mitchell; her grandparents, Nancy Nutt DeBarr and John D. DeBarr; her sons, Robert Gaylord Hacker and Ira Clifford Hacker; and her husband Ira Hacker, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Massengill (Wayland) of Shallotte, NC; and her grandchildren, Janet Smith of Maiden, Trey Massengill of Stafford, VA and Katherine Massengill of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roach Funeral Home (708 Braxton St, Gassaway, WV 26624). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Roach Funeral Home (708 Braxton St, Gassaway, WV 26624).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to an Alzheimer's Research or Veteran's organization of your choice.
