He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Eugene Gower, Sr.; his wife Barbara Idleman Gower; and his sisters, Juanita Moore and Hilda Beamer. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Gower (Alecia) of Conroe, Texas and Robin Woodford (John) of Flemington, WV; his grandchildren, Jamie Taylor (Jesse) of Conroe, TX, Derek Woodford (Sarah) of Morgantown, Drew Woodford (Ashley) of King George, Virginia and Kylie Woodford of Barboursville; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Woodford, Josiah Woodford, Emery Woodford and Casey Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
