He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald William Pennington and Myrtle Virginia Tyree Burgess; and his siblings, Peggy Vandevender, Wanda Blankenship, Ronald Pennington Jr., James Edward Pennington and George L. Burgess.
He is survived by: his sons, Allan Pennington (Elizabeth) of Woodlawn, VA, Jason Pennington (Chastity) of Buckhannon, Raymond Pennington (Ashley) of Shelbyville, WV and Tyler Pennington (Rebecca) of Belington, WV; his grandchildren, Jonathan Beckner, Wyatt Pennington, Jackson Leonard, Isabella Pennington, Emily Pennington, Brandon Pennington, Chase Pennington, Karter Pennington, Mason Pennington, Trenten Riffle and Kevin Riffle; his great grandchildren, Adalee Pennington and Aire Leonard; and his siblings, Helen Harlow (Ronald) of Selma, VA, Linda Wilson (Ron) of Mt. City, TN, Kitty Miller (Buckey) of Marlinton, Susan Cassell of Gordonsville, VA, Vada, Tom Pennington (Carol) of Grafton, WV and Ethan A. Burgess (Denise) of Marlinton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lantz Funeral Home - Buckeye (16792 Seneca Trail, Buckeye, WV 24924). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
