With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettie Lou Jarvis of Gassaway, West Virginia, born in Duck, West Virginia, who passed away on January 19, 2022 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bettie Lou Jarvis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessy J. Paintiff and Lucretia Tanner Paintiff; her grandson Adam Rollyson; and her siblings, Grover, Richard, Walt, Tom, Roy, Russell, Blanche, Ruby and Stella.
She is survived by: her sons, Chelsie "Bud" Rollyson (Renee Rollyson) of Gassaway and John Jarvis (Vicki) of Gassaway; her grandchildren, Amber Francis (Mike), Kristie Arbogast (Bryant), Joshua Brown, Chelsea Sartin (Danny) and Samantha Scarff; her sister Bessie Rice; and her pet Scooter.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV 26624 to assist with funeral expenses.
