She was predeceased by: her parents, Criss Gerwig and Bea Dobbins Gerwig; her daughter Diana Lynn Jenkins; and her siblings-in-law, Russ Shepherd and Elsie Gerwig.
She is survived by: her children, Shawnna Villarreal (Dino), Randy Jenkins and Bradley Stewart; and her siblings, William Matthew Gerwig of Ridgeley, WV, Marilyn James (Johnnie) and Joy Shepherd.
