Childress; her grandchildren, Allyssa M. White, Willie N. Childress and Zoey R. White of Bluefield; her sister Priscilla A. Dalton (Ronald) of Gary; her godchildren, Geree, Malcolm, Gezelle Brown and James "BooBoo" Mullins; and her close friends, Shirley Porterfield, Rev. William Spencer, Vernon Carrington, Robert Jeffries and Donal Hastings. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
