We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2020, at the age of 76, Jean Gilcrist Clarkson of Gap Mills, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos King and Ellen Wilson King; and her husband Robert Clarkson. She is survived by: her close friend Russell Kirk of Gap Mills, WV; her daughters, Peggy Jewell (Matt) of Roanoke, VA and Patricia Carter (Tim) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Ashley Duemmler (Kai) of Raleigh, NC, Morgan Carter of Charlotte, NC and Cierra McDaniel (Jared) of Phoenix, AZ; her great grandchild Aria McDaniel of Phoenix, AZ; her aunt Etta Wilson; and her cousin Velma Bostic.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and out of love and respect for the family and friends, the services for Jean will be private and for immediate family only.
