He is survived by: his mother Athelene Wickline Helms; his children, Rick Helms of Gap Mills, WV, Debbie LaFuze (Mike) of Indiana, Betty Ketola (Jim) of Michigan and Kathy Helms (Billy Joe Kirk) of Gap Mills, WV; his daughter-in-law Cathy Helms; his grandsons, Greg Ketola, Erik LaFuze and Ronnie Helms; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Brenden Katola, Gwynn, Genna Ketola and Kelsey LaFuze. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
