It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christena Hutchins Stone of Gap Mills, West Virginia, born in Spanishburg, West Virginia, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oatie Hale Moye and Edna Malinda Stone Moye; and her siblings, Norma Cline, Lila Lee Hatcher, Wilma Shrewsbury, Loretta Moye, Vernell Grubb, Robert Moye, Uriah Joe Moye and Silas Sterling Moye.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Hutchins Elledge (Gerald) of Princeton, Sandy Hutchins Melvin (Fred Bailey) of Oakvale, Kathy Lynn Hutchins of Gap Mills and Alesia Stone Lovell (Donald Poe, Jr.) of Athens. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
