It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Dransfield of Gap Mills, West Virginia, born in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 5, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Walfrid Erickson and Ida Margaret Roach Erickson; and her siblings, Norma Charlotte Erickson, Margaret Ida Whiteman, Leola Bond, Ethel Pauline Thurman and Joseph Frederick Erickson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bob Erickson (Janice) of Erie, CO and Sandra Sanders of Elkins, WV; her children, Steve, Doug Dransfield (Tracy) of Gap Mills, WV and Nancy Potts (Mike) of Purcellville, VA.; her grandchildren, Josh, Laura Jane Dransfield of Gap Mills, WV, Chris Potts (Sarah) of Purcellville, VA, Hayley Goodwin (Coty) of Gordonsville, VA and Logan Potts (Christine) of Winchester, VA.; her stepgrandsons, Jackson Mohler (Ali) of Church Hill, TN and Issac Mohler (Johnna) of Union, WV.; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Benjamin Potts of Purcellville, VA and Brayden Goodwin of Gordonsville, VA.; her stepgreat-grandson Calvin Mohler of Church Hill, TN.; and her husband Raymond Dransfield.
