It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Edward Corder of Galloway, West Virginia, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Michael Edward has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his father Wayne "Pete" Corder. He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Sue Corder (Cottrill); and his siblings, Wayne "Butch" Corder Jr. (Shelia), Timothy Corder and Jennifer Welch (Christopher). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home (220 N Walnut St, Philippi, WV 26416). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
