Sherman Edward Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherman Edward of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip E. Long and Christina Long (Matthews); and his brother James L. Long. He is survived by: his children, Nora Christine Franklin of Scottown, OH, Christopher Long (Shannon) of Grove City, OH and Christana L. Long of Gallipolis Ferry; his grandchildren, Trevor Franklin, Carmen Muriale (Rocco), Philip Long, Ashlynn Byran (John), Jessilynn Hill, Chrissanne Magdalene Long and Connor Franklin; and his siblings, Robert E. Long and Tana Rainey (Long). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers and gifts that memorial contributions be made to the Mason County Animal Shelter, 1965 Fairground Road, Point Pleasant, WV 25550.
