He is survived by: his parents, Bud Lewis and Genevieve Mattox Lewis (Gillispie); his children, Kristina Benson, Bryan Smith, Felicia Jane Mattox and Delia Mae Mattox; his grandchildren, Michael Benson III, Adison Benson, Karlee Benson, Chase Patterson and Nate Patterson; and his siblings, Connie, Sharon Justus (Mike), John "Toby" Lewis (Kim), Teresa Schull, Lucy Brown Mattox, Jeanie Mattox and Tommy Mattox. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
