He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "Sonny" Simpkins and Sonia Decker Simpkins; his sister Cathy Simpkins; and his nephew Briar Wolfe. He is survived by: his wife Camala Simpkins; and his siblings, Carl Simpkins, Todd Simpkins, Clifford Simpkins and Missie Simpkins.
