He was predeceased by: his parents, Otho Birchfield and Anna Hoover Birchfield; his siblings, Charles Birchfield and Loretta Hughes; and his brothers-in-law, Allen Hughes (Loretta), Steve Tomlinson and Gary McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Birchfield of Gallipolis Ferry; his daughters, Penny of Gallipolis, OH, Cindy Ferrell (John) of Gallipolis and Stephanie Nibert (Max Snider) of Gallipolis; and his siblings, Shirley, Joyce, Martha Wroten (Rodger) of Glenwood, Patricia Tomlinson of Ashton, WV, Carolyn McCoy of Apple Grove, WV, Carl Birchfield (Ruth) of Point Pleasant, WV, Billy Birchfield (Delores) of Gallipolis Ferry and Dale Birchfield of Gallipolis Ferry. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family, friends.
Strict social distancing and face masks are required to attend.
