He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Whittington and Elsie Whittington; his son Anthony "Tony" Whittington; his nephew Matthew Whittington; his siblings, Gary Whittington and Betty Jo Whittington of Fairmont; and his uncle Carl Knipp.
He is survived by: his former wife Terri Whittington; his daughter Tiffany Whittington (Justin Deal); his grandchildren, Kylee, Khloe Smith, Michael Whittington, Matthew Whittington and Jaden Whittington; his great grandchildren, Alaina and Kenly Young; his siblings, Jim Whittington (Carol) of Apple Grove, Daniel Whittington of Ashton, Al Whittington of Point Pleasant, Rosetta Starkey (Earl) of Apple Grove and Delores Bell of Akron; his parents-in-law, Roxie and Dale Stover; and his sister-in-law Amy Ward (Charlie). He is also survived by many special friends, neighbors, and former co-workers.
