With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rex Brown of Gallagher, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dovie Landers Brown; and his siblings, Barbara Patton, Eugene, Darrell, Johnny Mac Brown of Gallagher and Raymond Brown of Campbells Creek.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kenny Brown of Gallagher, Timmy Brown of Gallagher, Helen Estudillo, Connie Kidd, Linda Ferrell of Summersville, Benita Bright, Brenda Carpenter, Janet Barnett of North Carolina, Doris Milam of Arnett and Betty Williamson of Mansfield, Ohio; his children, Melissa Weber (Nathaniel) of Iowa and Richard Brown of Gallagher; and his grandchildren, Catlyn (Corey) of Buffalo, Julia Wheeler (Colby) of Mahan, Madalynn McClung (Jordan) of St. Albans, Adessa McClung of Iowa, Della Brown of Dupont City, Maxlynn, Parker Green of Buffalo and Laiklynn Wheeler of Mahan.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the O'Dell Funeral Home (1301 Fayette Pike W, Montgomery, WV 25136). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
