It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lloyd Bird of Friendly, West Virginia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Glenn "Mick" Bird. He is survived by: his mother Nona Shamblin Bird; his wife Penny Damron Bird; his children, Scott Bird, Brian Bird (Mary Anna) and Buffy Carper (David); his grandchildren, Hayley, Ryan, Hallie, Matthew, Willa Grace, Pierce and Haley; and his siblings, Daniel "Harley" Bird (Cindy), David "Squirrel" Bird (Pam), Steven "Moose" Bird (Jeannie), Michael "Clyde" Bird and Becky Sholes (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
