He was predeceased by: his father Oliver Truman Kemp; and his siblings, Juanita Fagert, Wilma June Holmes, Kenneth O Kemp and Orville Kemp.
He is survived by: his mother Lavesta Hooper Kemp; his children, Teresea Winland (Samuel), Robert Kemp Jr. and Irene Kemp; and his sisters, Yvonne Starkey and Linda Snodgrass. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and brother-in-laws.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home (512 2nd St, St Marys, WV 26170). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
